Black Masterbatch

Description:

40% Polyethylene based Black Master batch for coloring of Polyolefin.The grade is made with high quality carbon black feedstock, formulated with proprietary additive package to give high covering power & weather resistance, high color strength & gloss, low ash content & filterability index, excellent dispersion & good flow properties.

PE grade used as carrier resin has a density of 926 kg/m3 & meets the requirement stipulated in IS:10146 on specification for PE for safe use in contact with foodstuffs, pharmaceuticals & drinking water; it also conforms to the positive list of constituents.

Applications:

The applications  includes flat & round drip laterals for micro irrigation conforming to IS 12786 & 13488 having a minimum wall thickness of 0.15 mm & line speeds up to 200 m/min maximum, HDPE pipes of PN 2.5 to PN 16 pressure class in PE63 / PE80 / PE100 grades, Tarpaulins, Mulch Films, Geomembranes & Rot molded tanks.

Specification:

Material is supplied in pellet form, packed in 25 Kg laminated bags. SPL recommends storage of material in a ventilated & covered facility, protected from Moisture, Sunlight and Heat. The packing used is not UV stabilized and hence should not be exposed to sunlight.
